The weather officer has informed me that the weather is still looking good at the Cape in case we have to return early so we will continue to orbit, do our assigned experiments, and observe the beautiful earth, the oceans, and it's atmosphere. Here we see a typical beautiful thunderstorm complex with it's convective cells. Usually lightning occurs in the cells and sometimes the cells are lit up during a night-time pass.
