Here's the famous Piper Aircraft Logo
This is a photo of a Piper J3C Cub that I flew
on May 26, 1996. I flew this aircraft on the 50th aniversity of my
first solo flight on the same month, day, and hour 50 years
before and the thrill was just as great as ever.
This is B&W photo of an L-4 military version of
the famous Piper Cub model that was produced by Piper and used by
the military services use as an artillery spotter/locater aircraft.
It was used also by the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) as a submarine spotter
during the second World War.

that I flew.
